SUMITUBE B2(4X) is a flexible, flame-retarded heat-shrinkable polyolefin tubing, which is specially overexpanded (4:1 expansion ratio) with minimal longitudinal change (5% maximum). It meets the material and functional requirements of AMS-DTL-23053/5, Class 1 Overexpanded, with exception to wall thickness. Recommended for special purpose applications such as cable jacket retrofit or repair and electrical insulation of wire assemblies that have over sized components and connectors. Especially noteworthy is the minimum longitudinal change in length of 5% maximum after recovery, a unique feature not normally found in 4:1 shrink ratio tubing.
